I’ve had my new Windows 10 PC maybe a month now and this error (file explorer not responding) keeps happening. I’ve found that I can clear file explorer history and it will be OK for a while. I haven’t yet unchecked the two boxes noted above. I hope this is a permanent fix. If not, guess I’ll call Geek Squad. Paid a fortune for support and I might as well use it.
